Prior to this project, Philipp had developed the ‘Air Case’ that uses an air-tight inflatable lining to protect smart phones from falls. Following successful early prototypes, it was apparent that inflatable consumer electronics and accessories can have a very tactile finish that is comfortable in the hand. Air Type brings these principles to the user’s fingertips with a keyboard made from individual inflatable keys.🌬
