The new Apple Watch has been repositioned to tailor towards the serious athletes and adventurer market with new features and more rugged industrial design. With a 49mm case size, this is the biggest apple watch to date, the larger body houses a significantly larger battery compared to previous models and allows for an extended battery life. The housing itself is made from titanium casework and sapphire flat front crystal and now comes with a second programmable button on the side. The watch has a water resistance level of WR100 which is certified for scuba diving; the accessory options also highlight the new 'adventurer' market positioning. The selection of strap choices include a wavy rubberized Ocean Band that is designed to fit over wetsuit sleeves, a lightweight and slightly elastic Trail Loop and an Alpine Loop nylon band that has a titanium clasp to ratchet into the different sizes.🤿
