“If you've followed my work for a while, you'll know that I've always tried to incorporate storytelling into my designs. It's the unique meeting point between industrial design, which is usually form and function oriented, and character design. A lot of focus was placed on bringing character to the design through stance, so a lot of the larger shapes during the early stages of the design, especially the proportions and posture, were mainly influenced by the anatomy of a chimpanzee.” 🦾
