The Cove Lounge was created as part of a broader movement towards sustainable design, which seeks to reduce the environmental impact of manufacturing and production processes. “It is important for me as a designer to stop and reflect on some of the processes that have become somewhat intuitive in my work,” says Fereday. The Cove Lounge chair is currently featured in an exhibition called "New Australian Design" at the Powerhouse Museum until the 30th April.
