For episode seven of #studiosessions, we caught up with Ponti Design Studio, founded by Andrea Ponti & Shiori Kuroiwa.

“At Ponti Design Studio, we live and breathe design. Located in the cosmopolitan city of Hong Kong, we embrace a unique design language, harmoniously weaving Eastern and Western aesthetics into our work. Our founders, Italian designer Andrea Ponti and Japanese designer Shiori Kuroiwa, conceived a design philosophy deeply rooted in minimalism, functionality, and sustainability.

Each project starts with an idea, a vision to challenge the status quo. We then translate this vision into sketches, prototypes, and eventually, tangible products. Along the way, we interrogate every detail to ensure the final product not only serves its purpose, but also communicates a unique story.
