The symmetrical Olympic & Paralympic torch inspired by the rippled water of the River Seine.🔥
For the first time in the games history, this torch is the same design and shape for both the Olympic and Paralympic games, a decision made to promote equality across both the games. The design of the torch is completely symmetrical in both the middle and side axis, again emphasising this equality. It is made from 100% recycled steel and comes in champagne colour. The top is a smooth matte finish and the bottom half being a shiny surface that reflects the ripple effect inspired by the River Seine that runs through Paris. The majority of the 1.5 kilogram torch's weight is in the centre of the object, making the weight distribution easier to carry in comparison to traditional top-heavy torches.🇫🇷
