A minimal desk lamp that utilises a pulley system for lighting adjustment. 💡
The task light uses its power cable as the key interaction point in the pulley mechanism. “I also wanted to make sure that I could operate the product without any special hinge structure.” A focus on the centre of gravity and weight distribution meant a variety of prototypes at different fidelities had to be carried out, whilst the lamp uses soft and flowing lines to further portray its balanced posture. ⚖️
