A unique time piece concept that uses abstract shapes to portray deforestation over time.🌎
This wrist watch raises awareness of the amount of greenery we have left on this earth and uses different colours, shapes and finishes to signify different stages of the forests recovery. The minute hand in the white space represents the blank land right after the forests have been cut down. The hour hand in the textured dark grey zone perceives the barren land during the recovery. As time ticks on, unfortunately the recovery process will never catch up with the speed of deforestation.🌳
